Taylor's is a seasonal business. We open each season on the first day of Spring, and remain open until all plants are sold (usually early June). We reopen on weekends in September and October for Fall flowers, decor sales, corn maze, and pick your own pumpkins and apples. Self-serve cash only transactions Monday-Friday.
2024 Message from Taylor's Greenhouse
Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow signaling an early Spring. With warmer predicted temps going into March and bulbs emerging it is hard to argue with him!
We are continuing to expand our offerings of Proven Winners, Specialty Annuals, Perennials, Hanging Baskets, Containers, and Vegetables based on your requests. You, our customer, and your feedback are an invaluable resource here. If you have something that does or does not do well, we want to know! Continue with your requests and we will continue to improve.
Supply and production costs are finally showing signs of stabilizing. We are thankfully able to keep our prices comparable to last with very few changes.
We would like to extend an invitation to your group of friends, Scout groups, and classrooms for tours and/or private planting events. Those are offered March 20th thru April 19th and post Mother’s Day for planting events only. Those events can be custom “Taylor’d” to your specific needs or requests. Please contact us for more information.
A new event for ’24 is Spring Blossoms and Blooms May 4th and 5th. Our hope is our surrounding orchards will provide the blossoms and we will have the blooms! We are blessed to have a lot of natural beauty in every direction to greet you in your travels here.
Our annual Butterfly event will be one day only, April 14th. Tickets are available for pre-sale at a discount or by chance the day of the event. Pre-sale tickets are advantageous as they are sold in time slots to negate waiting in line. Just be here 10-15 mins before your ticket time. Ones sold the day of the event are subject to remaining tickets by time slot.
There are food trucks slated to be here on April 27th and 28th, May 4th ,5th, 11th, and 12th for your convenience as well.
As always, we are grateful to have you as a customer and hope to exceed your expectations for plant quality and customer service this year. If you feel we can improve please let us know!
Happy Spring!!
Kurt, Kent, and the crew at Taylor’s
