2022 Message from Taylor's Greenhouse
Greenhouse Greetings!!
After a long Winter we are all more than ready for Spring and its promise of sunny days, cool evenings and being able to enjoy the warmer weather. Bulbs are starting to emerge from their winter’s nap, birds are flying North, overnight temperatures are rising.
The Build Your Own Bouquet field is starting to show signs of life and will be ready in the weeks following our opening. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
With COVID concerns lessening, we have decided to bring some workshops back for the 2022 season. We have opted to have them on Saturdays instead of week nights making them more available for people to attend.
Sarah from Birdie’s Nest will be here with DIY essential oil projects on March 19th, April 9th, and April 30th from 10AM until 2PM. Room sprays, body wash and spray, perfume and more! Pricing will vary depending on the project or projects you wish to make.
We are excited to have our customer favorite event grow into a 2-day event: Butterfly Weekend. The amazing folks from Folk’s Butterfly Farm will be here April 9th and 10th. We have made some changes to help alleviate the long lines and crowds of 2021. You will be able to pre-purchase tickets AND be able to select a time slot for your desired day. Our hope is that will help you have a more enjoyable experience. Farm Show Milkshakes will also be here that weekend with more dates to follow.
On April 30th there will be a fundraiser for a wonderful charity in our local community, John’s Meals, which benefits community children that are “food insecured” at home. On the menu is Pulled Pork and all the fixin’s from 10AM until sold out.
We have plans to further expand our Fall seasonal offerings. A Corn maze, pick-your-own activities (pumpkins, apples, sunflowers, dahlias) and farming equipment displays go hand in hand complementing our popular Fall Mum season. Bring your family and friends for the beautiful mountain views, smells, and tastes of Fall on the Farm with us. More details to follow!
Thank you all for your continued loyalty and patronage. We look forward to serving you in 2022 and beyond!
Kurt, Kent and the crew at Taylor’s

Taylor's is a seasonal business. We open each season on March 19th, the first day of Spring, and remain open until all plants are sold (usually early June).
